Supporting Ontario Communities

OLG has a proud tradition of supporting local events and festivals in communities across Ontario. In particular, OLG provides sponsorship support to events that involve and benefit the community as well as generate business and interest in the town or city. Our prime areas of focus for sponsorships are:

Local community music festivals and events,
Community, civic and business related events in communities with OLG operations

Providing sponsorship support to worthwhile community events is another way that OLG makes life better for people across Ontario and delivers "Everyday Possibilities". It is through these efforts that OLG contributes to local cultural, tourism and economic development and helps to build stronger communities. OLG evaluates requests on the following Sponsorship criteria:

The sponsored event should be aligned with our preferred sponsorship areas: music programs at community festivals/events and community-based events in areas with OLG operations.
Proposals must be tailored to OLG as a socially responsible entertainment company.
The target market must engage adults 19+.
The sponsorship should support OLG's role as a community partner and the provider of local gaming entertainment.
The opportunity should offer ways to enable us to position the corporate logo and engage our target audiences in unique ways.
The event must include a comprehensive communication and public relations plan.

Please note that meeting these criteria does not in itself guarantee approval. Due to high demands for sponsorship funds, OLG is unable to support all projects.
