We don't allow retailers
to play the lottery
where they work.

Here's why:

At OLG we're committed to building Ontario's trust by making sure our games are fair and secure. That's why we have introduced a new policy prohibiting anyone who sells or redeems lottery tickets from buying or redeeming tickets at the store they work in. In order to better protect Ontarians against potential fraud, we are ensuring that everyone who plays the lottery does so in the same way - from the customer's side of the counter. This new policy, in addition to prohibiting OLG employees from playing any lottery games, is a further example of our commitment to make the lottery more secure for Ontarians.
