There will be five LOTTO 6/49 Guaranteed $1 Million Prize Draws on December 23 and 26, 2015 – that’s four additional Guaranteed Prize Draws for $1 million each! Players who purchase a LOTTO 6/49 play for the December 23 or 26 draw will automatically have a chance to win the Jackpot as well as any of five Guaranteed $1 Million Prize Draws! The winning selections for all five of the Super Draw’s Guaranteed $1 Million Prize Draws will be drawn only from those issued.

HOW DO I MAKE SURE I'M ENTERED IN THE LOTTO 6/49 SUPER DRAW?

Players who purchase a LOTTO 6/49 play for the December 23 or 26, 2015 draws will automatically have a chance to win the Jackpot plus any of five Guaranteed $1 Million Prize Draws! The winning selections for all five of the Super Draw’s Guaranteed $1 Million Prize Draws will be drawn only from those issued.

ARE THERE ADDITIONAL GUARANTEED PRIZE DRAW NUMBERS ON THE TICKET?

There is one Guaranteed Prize Draw selection on your ticket for each $3 play that gives you a chance to win any of the five Guaranteed Prize Draws for $1 million each.

IS THERE AN EXTRA COST TO PLAY THE LOTTO 6/49 SUPER DRAW?

No. The Super Draw offers more chances to win big for the same price. Players who purchase a LOTTO 6/49 play for the December 23 or 26, 2015 draws will automatically have a chance to win the Jackpot plus any of five Guaranteed $1 Million Prize Draws!

WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF WINNING THE ADDITIONAL GUARANTEED PRIZE DRAWS?

The odds for winning any one of the Guaranteed Prize Draws are determined by the total number of Selections issued across Canada. For example, if 5 million LOTTO 6/49 plays are issued, there would be 5 million Selections for the Guaranteed Prize Draws, which means the odds of any one Selection being drawn for any of the Guaranteed Prize Draws would be 1 in 5 million.

WHY CAN'T I CHOOSE MY OWN GUARANTEED PRIZE DRAW SELECTION?

To ensure there is only one winning Guaranteed Prize Draw selection, every selection must be unique. If customers were to choose their own selections, there would always be the possibility that two players could have the same winning Guaranteed Prize Draw selection, and therefore, have to split a prize.

CAN THERE BE TWO TICKETS WITH THE SAME GUARANTEED PRIZE DRAW SELECTION?

No. The Guaranteed Prize Draw selections are unique, and therefore, two tickets cannot share the same selection. The winning selections for the Guaranteed Prize Draws match only one 10-digit selection and will only appear on one ticket issued across Canada.

WHERE DOES THE FUNDING FOR THE SUPER DRAW/ADDITIONAL GUARANTEED PRIZE DRAWS COME FROM?

These additional prizes are funded by the 7 per cent of LOTTO 6/49 sales dedicated to the Guaranteed Prize Draw fund.
