Every LOTTO 6/49 play issued for the November 25 and November 28 draws will automatically have a chance to win the Jackpot or any of the 56 guaranteed prize draws!

HOW DO I MAKE SURE I'M ENTERED IN THE LOTTO 6/49 SUPER DRAW?

Every LOTTO 6/49 play issued for the November 25 and November 28 draws will automatically have a chance to win the Jackpot or any of the 56 guaranteed prize draws! The winning selections for all of the SUPER DRAW’s Guaranteed Prize Draws – one prize of $1 million, six (6) prizes of $100,000 and forty-nine (49) prizes of $10,000 – will be drawn only from those issued.

ARE THERE ADDITIONAL GUARANTEED PRIZE DRAW NUMBERS ON THE TICKET?

There is one Guaranteed Prize Draw Selection on your ticket for each $3 play that gives you a chance to win any of the Guaranteed Prize Draws.

IS THERE AN EXTRA COST TO PLAY THE LOTTO 6/49 SUPER DRAW?

No. The SUPER DRAW offers more chances to win big for the same price. Players who purchase a LOTTO 6/49 play for the November 25 or November 28, 2015 draws will automatically have a chance to win the Jackpot plus any of the Guaranteed Prize Draws, from $10,000 up to $1 million!

WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF WINNING THE ADDITIONAL GUARANTEED PRIZE DRAWS?

The odds for winning any one of the Guaranteed Prize Draws are determined by the total number of Selections issued across Canada. For example, if 5 million LOTTO 6/49 plays are issued, there would be 5 million Selections for the Guaranteed Prize Draws, which means the odds of any one Selection being drawn for any of the Guaranteed Prize Draws would be 1 in 5 million.

WHY CAN'T I CHOOSE MY OWN GUARANTEED PRIZE DRAW SELECTION?

To ensure there is only one winning Guaranteed Prize Draw selection, every selection must be unique. If customers were to choose their own selections, there would always be the possibility that two players could have the same winning Guaranteed Prize Draw selection, and therefore, have to split a prize.

CAN THERE BE TWO TICKETS WITH THE SAME GUARANTEED PRIZE DRAW SELECTION?

No. The Guaranteed Prize Draw selections are unique, and therefore, two tickets cannot share the same selection. The winning selections for the Guaranteed Prize Draws match only one 10-digit selection and will only appear on one ticket issued across Canada.

IS IT POSSIBLE FOR THE SAME SELECTION TO BE DRAWN FOR MORE THAN ONE OF THE 56 GUARANTEED PRIZE DRAWS ON NOVEMBER 25 OR NOVEMBER 28?

Yes. Each Guaranteed Prize Draw on November 25 and November 28 will include all Guaranteed Prize Draw selections issued for that date. Winning selections that have been drawn are not removed from subsequent draws on that date; however, it’s unlikely that a Guaranteed Prize Draw selection would win more than one prize on the same draw date. The average LOTTO 6/49 draw since September 2013 has seen more than five million LOTTO 6/49 selections issued and each has the same chance of being selected for a Guaranteed Prize Draw.

WHERE DOES THE FUNDING FOR THE SUPER DRAW/ADDITIONAL GUARANTEED PRIZE DRAWS COME FROM?

These additional prizes are funded by the 7 per cent of LOTTO 6/49 sales dedicated to the Guaranteed Prize Draw fund.
