Make being a Group Play Captain even easier

• Sign up for our convenient E-mail Alert service to get Jackpot alerts and winning numbers e-mailed to you automatically.
• If your Group is interested in playing LOTTO 6/49 on an on-going basis, consider a 26, 52 or 104 draw LOTTO ADVANCE subscription.
• Create an e-mail for group members that states the Jackpot amount, draw date, cost per play and cut-off time for payment. Save a copy of the e-mail in a folder and resend it every week. You'll only have to adjust the names, dollar amounts and dates the next time you send it.
• Download the Lottery Group Play Form for a great way to manage your group purchases and play - whether you print it out or download it and fill in the details on your computer.
• Prior to the draw, make a group decision about how much of the prize winnings will be split among the group and how much will be returned into future lottery ticket purchases.
• After you have purchased the tickets and signed them, you may decide to make copies for each group member so everyone knows which numbers you're playing. Just make sure you see our photocopied ticket policy first.
• Better yet, be environmentally friendly - make one copy of your signed tickets and post them in a place where everyone can see them, or scan the tickets and e-mail them to group members.

What you need to know as a Group Play Captain

ATTENTION groups with retailers: Group lottery tickets are void if an OLG retailer or a person involved in the handling of lottery tickets at the retailer's store is a member of the group and the group's tickets are purchased, electronically checked or electronically validated in the retailer's store.

All lottery tickets must be signed before a retailer can validate them. The person who redeems the ticket for a group should sign the ticket and also show that it belongs to a group of people by adding a phrase such as "in trust." All names of members of a group should be recorded for each draw.

When photocopying Group Play lottery tickets for your group members, please make sure to fold the ticket just under the ENCORE number so as to display number selections only. Photocopied lottery tickets are not to be validated on OLG lottery terminals.
