LOTTO tickets

  1. Use the Ticket Checkers that are available at most lottery terminal retailer outlets, select OLG Slots & Casino facilities or the Toronto Prize Centre.
  2. Pick up a winning numbers printout from your LOTTO retailer.
  3. Compare your numbers to the winning numbers on OLG.ca.
  4. Sign up for winning number E-mail Alerts or Mobile Alerts at OLG.ca.
  5. Call our WIN! Line at 416-870-8946 (Toronto area) or toll free at 1-866-891-8946 (outside the Toronto area).
  6. Phone TDD (Telecommunication Device for the Deaf) at 1-800-563-5357.
  7. Some newspapers or media outlets will report unofficial OLG lottery numbers.

ATTENTION groups with retailers: Group lottery tickets are void if an OLG retailer or a person involved in the handling of lottery tickets at the retailer's store is a member of the group and the group's tickets are purchased, electronically checked or electronically validated in the retailer's store. For more information about group play, phone the OLG Support Centre at 1-800-387-0098.

INSTANT Tickets

  1. Use the Ticket Checkers that are available at most lottery terminal retailer outlets, select OLG Slots & Casino facilities or the Toronto Prize Centre.
  2. Scratch the play areas of your INSTANT ticket by following the game instructions. After playing the ticket, completely scratch the latex area containing the Scratch & Scan symbol located on the left side of the front of the ticket, to reveal a bar code. Tilt the ticket into the Ticket Checker with the bar code facing up. It is important that the latex is completely removed in order for the ticket to be read by the Ticket Checker.

Step 2: Ask your retailer to check your ticket on an OLG lottery terminal
