Before claiming your prize, you should:

Important Note

Whether you have a winning ticket or not, your retailer must return all LOTTO and INSTANT tickets to you along with the corresponding Customer Receipts.

  • Sign your ticket.
  • Fill in the required information on the back of your ticket.
  • Check your ticket yourself to see if you have won.

How to claim your prize at retail

Present your signed LOTTO or INSTANT ticket to the retailer for verification of your prize on the lottery terminal. If you have a winning ticket:

  1. If you are at a lottery terminal retail outlet you will see a winning message on the Customer Display Screen and hear a winning message play from the lottery terminal.
  2. For LOTTO tickets, your winning prize amount will be printed (or "branded") on the front, left-hand side of your original ticket.
  3. Your retailer will give you a Customer Receipt which will indicate the winning prize amount.
  4. If the retailer can pay your prize, he or she will tear through the bar code of your paid-out ticket, and return the validated ticket to you along with the corresponding Customer Receipt.
  5. The boxed Ticket Number on the receipt should match the Ticket Number on the ticket.

Prize Payment

  • Your retailer will pay your prize amount in cash.

Winning tickets with multiple draws

  • If there are draws remaining on your winning LOTTO ticket, you will receive an Exchange Ticket that will print from the lottery terminal. This will be your ticket for the remaining draws.
