Congratulations to Betty Bertrand of Pickering who won $256,006 from the LOTTARIO draw on December 13, 2008.
Bertrand, 56, was at home when she realized she won this LOTTARIO jackpot prize. “I told my husband, ‘I think I won the lottery’,” she excitedly told Prize Centre staff in Toronto. “I am really excited!”
Bertrand is married, has one child and one grandchild. She plans to pay some bills and invest her windfall.
The winning ticket was purchased at Sweet Marie Variety located on Queen Street East in Toronto.
