Lottery Prize Integrity Program

NEW - Program Highlights

OLG designed its Lottery Prize Integrity Program to ensure that Ontario's lottery programs continue to be regarded as among the most secure and stringently administered in the world. Through this program, OLG will:

  • Protect customers and improve customer service, especially as it pertains to customer complaints.
  • Implement all recommendations in the Ontario Ombudsman's and KPMG's reports.
  • Act on customers' privacy concerns.
  • Provide customers with clear and concise information regarding the winning / non-winning status of tickets.
  • Use state-of-the-art technology to safeguard the integrity of Ontario's lottery system.
  • Build a robust database of all individuals involved in the direct sale of lottery products.
  • Identify and penalize retailers who engage in questionable activity.

Our Public Commitment

OLG accepts our responsibility by committing to take all reasonable steps to ensure the integrity and honesty of the retailers who serve the lottery system. These steps include, but are not limited to:

  1. Implementation of the Ontario Ombudsman's "OLG recommendations" made in his report on OLG
  2. Implementation and adoption of KPMG's recommendations made in its review and audit of OLG
  3. Embracing a corporate culture that puts customers first and instills our corporate values in our employees.
