WIN A SHOT AT A MILLION

James, Gennaro and Roland each won a Shot at a Million when they were chosen out of the 55 qualifiers from across Ontario at the Grand Prize Event at OLG Slots at Woodbine Racetrack held August 15th.

Gennaro, the OLG Slots at Windsor Raceway finalist, went first and knocked-out spot #26 to win $25,000. Next, the finalist from OLG Casino Thousand Islands, Ronald, punched-through spot #3, winning $25,000 and missing the million by just one number. Finally, James, the OLG Slots at Ajax Downs finalist, took a shot at spot #23 to also win $25,000. Congratulations to our three winners!

Pamela Demers

$384,369.43

BALLY QUARTER MILLIONS

Pamela Demers first words were "no way!" when she saw the winning combination displayed on the slot machine she was playing. Pamela hit the jackpot on the Quarter Millions progressive, winning $384,369.43 shortly after 9 p.m. on March 29th.

This is the second largest jackpot won at the OLG Slots at Georgian Downs since the gaming site opened. Pamela, who says she comes to the slot facility because of the great chicken wings and friendly staff, plans to use her jackpot winnings to buy a house, a new truck and pay off some debts.

Gaetan Michaud

BALLY QUARTER MILLIONS

As a regular weekend visitor to OLG Slots at Windsor Raceway, Gaetan Michaud was on his last few spins for the day when he hit the Bally Quarter Millions Jackpot just before 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17.

"When the three spin wheels stopped on the Jackpot, I thought I would be winning some sort of bonus," said Gaetan. "But I didn't know I had won BIG until I saw the $301, 901.28 dollar amount flash on the top of the bank!"

With his winnings, Gaetan and his wife are planning to retire. To date, this is the largest jackpot won at OLG Slots at Windsor Raceway.

What started out as a regular evening of some entertaining slot play, ended up as a truly exciting night for 44 year old Bradford resident Hillary Landsdown. Landsdown hit the jackpot just after 10:30 p.m. on November 26, and took home $306,074.62.

"I grabbed a stranger, now a new friend, and asked 'what did I win?" said Landsdown excitedly. "I was shaking and realized that now I can buy my dream Mini Cooper!" This is the fifth time that the Bally Quarter Millions Progressive jackpot has been won at OLG Slots at Georgian Downs.
