$100 Ultimate FAQs

ULTIMATE is OLG’s first-ever $100 INSTANT ticket, with approximately 1 million tickets now available at retail locations across the province. This is a limited time ticket, available only from October 31, 2022 until December 31, 2022, or until quantities last.

With $100 ULTIMATE, players can scratch and win Instant prizes of up to $100,000. Each ticket is eligible for a chance to win one of 40 $1 million dollar prizes that will be drawn on December 31, 2022.

With odds of 1 in 24,710, $100 ULTIMATE provides OLG’s best odds to win a $1 million.

The new $100 ULTIMATE ticket features two parts:

  • An Instant portion where a player scratches to win on the spot, with prizes ranging from $100 to $100,000. There are four Instant games on the ticket. In the first three games, if a player uncovers three identical prize amounts in the same game, they win that prize. In the fourth game, if the player matches one of the "Lucky Numbers" to one of the thirty "Your Numbers," they win the corresponding prize

  • A Draw portion with 40 $1 million prizes. Each ticket contains one draw number that the customer reveals by scratching the "Your Draw Number" area of the ticket. On December 31, 2022, 40 winning numbers will be drawn and there is a potential for the game to make a maximum of 40 new millionaires.

The odds of winning $1 million in the December 31, 2022 draw is 1 in 24,710, OLG’s best odds ever to win a $1 million top prize. The overall odds of winning on the INSTANT portion are 1 in 3.55.

There are 988,400 ULTIMATE tickets available across the province, for a limited time only - October 31 to December 31, 2022, or until quantities last.

Tickets will be distributed across OLG’s retail network. OLG has distributed the tickets to ensure broad geographic coverage, so that people from communities across Ontario can purchase.

We anticipate demand for this ticket will be high and tickets may not last long. We encourage you to check with your favourite location to see if they have any available at their store.

ULTIMATE is a unique, premium game, with fewer than 1 million tickets available. Some locations may sell out quickly, and some locations may not offer ULTIMATE for sale based on their experience with higher price point INSTANT games, or their business decision that this game is not right for their customers.

If your favourite location is not selling ULTIMATE, we encourage you to check with other locations in your area. You can use OLG.ca or the OLG app to find a location near you.

The four games on the INSTANT portion of each ticket are easy to play. For Games 1, 2 and 3, scratch the games completely, if you uncover three (3) identical prize amounts in the same game, you win that prize. For Game 4, you scratch the six (6) LUCKY NUMBERS and thirty (30) YOUR NUMBERS completely. If you match one of the LUCKY NUMBERS to one of YOUR NUMBERS, you win the corresponding prize.

You can only win once on the Instant portion of the ticket.

Each ticket contains one seven-digit Draw Number that you reveal by scratching the “Your Draw Number” area of the ticket. On December 31, 2022, 40 winning numbers will be drawn and announced. If your Draw Numbers exactly match any of the 40 winning Draw Numbers, you win a $1 million prize.

There is a potential for the game to make a maximum of 40 new millionaires (if all tickets are sold).

The ULTIMATE draw will take place on Saturday December 31, 2022 at approximately 9 p.m. ET.

Shortly after the December 31, 2022 ULTIMATE draw, winning numbers will be available on OLG.ca, the OLG app, and on a Winning Numbers printout from the lottery terminal. We hope to have these available by midnight, following the draw.

ULTIMATE tickets have a Scratch & Scan barcode on both the Instant and Draw portions of the ticket. Once you remove the scratch off material covering these barcodes, you can scan each barcode on the OLG App, or the ticket checker or lottery terminal at retail to see if that portion of your ticket is a winner.

Remember, you have to scan both barcodes on your ticket – one on the Instant portion and one on the Draw portion.

If either of the Scratch & Scan barcodes are damaged, your retailer can assist with locating and scanning either section’s backup barcode.

You can check the Instant portion of your ULTIMATE ticket at any time after purchase, before or after the Draw. If it is before the draw, you’ll get a reminder that there is a draw remaining. If it is after the draw, you’ll get a reminder to check the Draw portion right away.

Yes. You can win once on the Instant portion of your ticket, plus once on the December 31, 2022 draw. Be sure to scan both the Instant and Draw barcodes to see if either portion of your ticket is a winner.

Instant and Draw prizes must be claimed by December 31, 2023. Any prize money not claimed is directed to the province. In Ontario, those funds serve as part of the financial benefit we provide to the government.
