“I was playing my [PLINKO] ticket on the bus,” Jenna-Shae recalled while at the OLG Prize Centre. “When I revealed the last number, I matched it. I was hoping to get a chip drop to play in store. I saw the prize amount and I was so shocked I started to cry.”
In that incredible moment, Jenna-Shae remembered she was on a bus and didn’t want to draw any attention to herself. “I was trying so hard to play it cool,” she said with a laugh. “When I got off the bus, I called my husband to tell him. He immediately said, ‘no you didn’t’, but when I started to cry, he knew it was real,” Jenna-Shae said with a smile.
“My whole family is thrilled for me! I’m thrilled too. It was emotional,” Jenna continued. “I get excited when I win $100. When I saw all those zeroes, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. It still feels so unreal. It’s honestly a very shocking experience.”
Jenna-Shae sees this win as a big opportunity at a very important time in her life, a newlywed who is in the stages of building the foundation of what will be her adult life. “I will use this win to get ahead and have a down payment on a house.” Jenna-Shae will balance this with some fun adventures. “I also want to treat my husband to a honeymoon, and I want to plan a road trip with my mom and husband to explore Eastern Canada.”
