COMBINATION PLAY WITH LOTTO MAX

You win on a Combination Play ticket the same way as on a regular ticket. However, because you have multiple selections, you can win multiple prizes!

You can play eight-number and nine-number Combination Plays.

Your Combination Play numbers are eligible for both the LOTTO MAX Main Draw and MAXMILLIONS Draw(s), when held.

Play up to 10 draws in advance.

Eight-number Combination Play for LOTTO MAX costs $40 per draw.

Nine-number Combination Play for LOTTO MAX costs $180 per draw.

Draws are held every Tuesday and Friday. 

Tickets are sold until 10:30pm (Eastern Time) on draw nights.

HOW TO PLAY COMBINATIONS

Play Lotto Combination Online- Lotto Max

Using a LOTTO MAX Combination Play selection slip, select the eight or nine numbers from 1 to 50 you wish to combine by placing a mark in each of the appropriate boxes.

If you want to play for more than one draw, mark the number of draws in the Advance Play box.

If you would like to play ENCORE, mark the number of ENCORE plays you would like to add to your ticket. Each play costs $1.

Match the numbers drawn to win. Seven numbers plus one bonus number are drawn for the LOTTO MAX Main Draw. Seven numbers are drawn for each MAXMILLIONS Draw, when held.

When you choose an eight-number Combination Play, the eight numbers are arranged in combinations of seven numbers, giving you eight unique selections.

For each such unique selection, you also receive two sets of computer-generated numbers, for a total of 24 seven-number combinations.

For example, if you select 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 as your eight-number selection

The same method of combining numbers is repeated for each of the two sets of computer-generated numbers.

You will receive a single ticket from the retailer that will show the numbers you have chosen and two additional sets of eight computer-generated numbers. All possible combinations, however, will be recorded in the central computer.

When you choose a nine-number Combination Play, the nine numbers are arranged in combinations of seven numbers, giving you 36 unique selections. For each such unique selection, you also receive two sets of computer-generated numbers, for a total of 108 seven-number combinations.

For example, if you choose 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 as your nine-number selection

...and so on until all possible 36 different selections are created from the original nine numbers selected.
