1 Introduction
- 1.1 These Promotion Specific Terms (the “Promotion Specific Terms”) contain the specific terms and conditions which govern the “OLG.ca Starter Lottery Offer – Purchase $15 in Online Lottery Tickets, Get $10 ” (the “Promotion”). By opting-in to this Promotion, a Player, Prospective Player, Intending Player, or any other user (as applicable) (all the foregoing, hereinafter an “Individual”) is confirming that they understand, accept, and agree to be bound by these Promotion Specific Terms which govern this Promotion.
- 1.2 Promotion is subject to the General Terms and conditions which may be found by selecting here. The General Terms are hereby incorporated into and form part of these Promotion Specific Terms. Any conflict or inconsistency between these Promotion Specific Terms and the General Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the General Terms. Any capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the General Terms.
- 1.3 The General Terms contain the terms and conditions that govern, among other things, Merged Bonuses, Wagering Requirements, Wagering Periods, and Qualifying Requirements. If an Individual does not agree with these Promotion Specific Terms of the General Terms, they must (i) not opt in to the Promotion; or (ii) immediately opt-out of the Promotion.
- 1.4 This Promotion is intended to be conducted separately and with a distinct set of Promotion Specific Terms from all other promotions being administered by OLG.
2 Promotion Eligibility
- 2.1 The Promotion is available in Ontario only and only to those residing in Ontario who (at the time of participation):
- are eighteen 18 years of age or older;
- have a valid Player Account that is in good standing in accordance with the Player Agreement and has not been archived, self-excluded or deactivated;
- have been selected to participate in this Promotion and are otherwise qualified and not precluded from participating in OLG marketing and promotions, including the Promotion, based on the application of OLG’s current policies at the time of the Promotion, including OLG’s responsible gambling policy (“Eligible Participant”). Without limiting the foregoing, an Individual will not be eligible to participate in this Promotion if that Individual is rated as high risk under 3.10 of the Responsible Gambling and My PlayBreak Policy at or before the time of the Individual’s opt-in, regardless of whether that Individual received an invitation to participate in this Promotion.
Volunteers, employees, officers and directors (and those with whom such persons are living, whether related or not) of OLG, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and any of OLG’s advertising, promotion and contest management agencies are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.
- 2.2 In the event that an Individual does not meet the eligibility requirements as set forth herein, OLG has the right, in its sole discretion, to reject or disqualify the participant from participating in this Promotion. The disqualified Individual will not be entitled to any Bonus or other substitute benefit due to such disqualification.
3 Promotion Period
- 3.1 This Promotion is available as of Oct 5, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. to June 30, 2025 at 11:59 pm (the “Promotion Period”).
- 3.2 The Eligible Individual has thirty (30) calendar days from the date of their registration for a Player Account on OLG.ca to opt into the Promotion. After such time the Promotion will no longer be visible to the Eligible Individual.
- 3.3 Once opted in, the Eligible Individual must meet the Wagering Requirements within fourteen (14) calendar days in order to convert their Bonus to their Lottery Bonus balance. If the Eligible Individual does not meet such requirements, the Promotion will be removed from their Player Account.
4 How to Participate
- 4.1 In order to participate in this Promotion, an Eligible Participant must;
- Register for and/or log-in to their Player Account;
- Opt-in to the Promotion by visiting the “Promotions Lobby” on OLG.ca and Opting into the “Lottery Starter Offer” Promotion. Once an Eligible Individual has met the Wagering Requirements, they will be provided a Lottery Bonus of $10.00 (CAD) credited to their Lottery Bonus balance.
5 Wagering Requirements
- 5.1 The Wagering Requirements for this Promotion that must be satisfied in order to redeem the $10 Lottery Bonus are as follows:
- Within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date that the Eligible Individual opts into this Promotion (the “Wager Period”), the Eligible Participant must purchase a minimum of $15.00 (CAD) of Draw-Based Lottery Products Played Online to receive the Lottery Bonus. If an Eligible Individual does not meet these requirements within the fourteen (14) calendar days, this Promotion will be removed from their Player Account and no compensation of any sort will be provided.
- The Wagering Requirement for this Promotion requires that an Eligible Individual make a successful purchase(s) of Draw-Based Lottery Games Played online using Unutilized Funds from their Cash Balance in the amount equal to or exceeding $15.00 (CAD) in aggregate during the Wager Period in order to be eligible to receive their Lottery Bonus. For the avoidance of doubt, an Eligible Individual may meet this requirement through multiple purchases of Draw-Based Lottery products Played Online during the Promotion Period.
6 General Terms
- 6.1 Eligible Participant’s may only redeem the Promotion one (1) time. The Lottery Bonus provided in connection with this Promotion shall not exceed $10.00 (CAD) in Lottery Bonus, regardless of the amount spent on the purchase of Draw-Based Lottery Games Played Online.
