To Disable Biometric Login on the OLG App:
You can easily disable your biometric login on the OLG App. Go to “My Account” and swipe left on the Face ID or the Biometric login button to turn off the in-app toggle.
Not to worry! Let's troubleshoot why biometrics is not working on your OLG app:
Device Level: Has your biometrics been enabled via your device? Check your settings on your phone to ensure you’re set up properly.
OLG App Settings: Have you cancelled your initial set up? If so, you can enable your biometric login on the OLG App. Go to “My Account” and swipe right on the Login with Face ID or the Biometric login button to activate it.
No, OLG does not store your Fingerprint or Face ID. Biometric login relies on the fingerprint and Face ID you’ve stored on your device. We want you to feel safe. To ensure you are having a secure experience on the OLG app, check that you are the only person with access to your device and OLG.ca account on your app.
No, your biometric login will not work if you changed your OLG password.
If you want to use biometric login after you change your password, you’ll need to reenroll and go through the biometric setup process again.
