CASH POP^TM LOTTERY GAME CONDITIONS

These Game Conditions apply, until amended or revised, to the CASH POP lottery game (“CASH POP”).

1.0 RULES

1.1  Participation in CASH POP at lottery retail (“Retail CASH POP”), is governed by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (the “Corporation”) Rules Respecting Lottery Games, as amended or supplemented from time to time by the Corporation, which are available upon request or at OLG.ca and include limitations of liability.

1.2  Participation in CASH POP through OLG.ca (“Online CASH POP”) is governed by the Corporation Rules Respecting iGaming Lottery Games, as amended or supplemented from time to time by the Corporation, which are available upon request or at OLG.ca and include limitations of liability.

1.3  Words used in these Game Conditions which are used in the Rules Respecting Lottery Games or Rules Respecting iGaming Lottery Games shall have the same meaning as those used therein.

1.4  In these Game Conditions:

“Play” means a player's participation in a CASH POP draw, consisting of the player's selected POPS and the applicable Wager amount.

“Potential Prize Amount” means the potential CASH POP prize amount per POP which shall be no less than five (5) times, and no greater than 250 times, the Wagered amount.

2.0 GAME STRUCTURE

2.1  CASH POP is a lottery game in which a player selects:

a)    a minimum of one (1) number from one (1) to 15 (each, a “POP”, and, where more than one is selected, “POPS”); and

b)    the Wager amount of $2, $5, $10, or $20 which is applied to each selected POP.

For certainty, a player may select up to all 15 POPS for a Play of CASH POP.

2.3  The Potential Prize Amount (as defined in 4.3) for each POP selected for a CASH POP draw is randomly generated by the Corporation’s central computer system at the time the ticket is issued (See Section 4.3 for the prize structure).

2.4  The total cost of participating in CASH POP per purchase is calculated by multiplying the number of POPS selected by the Wager for each POP by the number of CASH POP draws selected. For example, four (4) POPS at a Wager of $5 per POP for two (2) CASH POP draws equals a total cost of $40.

2.5  A Player may play CASH POP through Advance Play (where available) by opting to participate in up to five (5) consecutive CASH POP draws at the same Wager per POP for each CASH POP draw. The Player will receive an individual ticket for each Play of CASH POP purchased through Advanced Play.

2.6  Quick Pick and auto pick are available for Retail CASH POP and Online CASH POP, respectively.

2.7  Repurchase Play is only available for Retail CASH POP. A repurchased ticket will have the same Play as the original purchased ticket on which the Repurchase Play is based, along with a new randomly generated Potential Prize Amount for each POP.

2.8  It is the sole responsibility of the Player to verify the accuracy of the Play for any CASH POP draw at the time of purchase.

2.9  For Retail CASH POP, each ticket requested and paid for shall be printed by the Corporation’s on-line system and display:

a)    the date and Draw Time of the applicable CASH POP draw;

b)    the total cost of the CASH POP ticket;

c)    the POPS selected, and the Potential Prize Amount for each POP displayed below the corresponding POP;

d)    the ticket number; and

e)    any other information the Corporation deems necessary

2.10  For Online CASH POP, each ticket requested and paid for shall be generated by the Corporation’s on-line system and display:

a)    the total cost of the CASH POP ticket;

b)    the ticket id number;

c)    the purchase date and time;

d)    the date and Draw Time of the applicable CASH POP draw;

e)    the number of POPS selected and the cost per POP; 

f)    the POPS selected, and the Potential Prize Amount for each POP displayed beside the corresponding POP; and

g)    any other information the Corporation deems necessary.

2.11  ENCORE is not available with CASH POP.

3.0 THE DRAW

3.1  The Corporation will conduct five (5) CASH POP draws daily according to the following schedule. All Draw Times are in Eastern Time. The draw applicable to the purchase will appear on the ticket.

* Purchases must be made between the Purchase Times stated for the corresponding draw.

  Purchase Times are applicable to Retail CASH POP and Online CASH POP. 

** Draw takes place as soon as possible after this time.

3.2  For each CASH POP draw, the Corporation shall draw one (1) winning POP number at random through OLG’s on-line system.

3.3  A ticket is eligible only for the CASH POP draw on the date and Draw Time indicated on the ticket.

4.0 PRIZE STRUCTURE

4.1  A Play is a winning Play if one of the POPS selected for a Play matches the winning POP drawn by the Corporation for the applicable CASH POP draw.

4.2  Where a Play is a winning Play, the CASH POP prize payable shall be the corresponding potential CASH POP prize associated with the winning POP for the applicable CASH POP draw.

4.3  The maximum Potential Prize Amount per POP at a Wager of $2, $5, $10, or $20 is as follows:

• $2 Wager – up to $500
• $5 Wager – up to $1,250
• $10 Wager – up to $2,500
• $20 Wager – up to $5,000

5.0 ODDS OF WINNING

5.1  The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 15.

5.2  The table below sets out the odds of winning each of the following prize amounts based on the applicable Wager amount.

6.0 CONDITIONS

6.1  CASH POP ticket(s) must be paid for before they are issued and cannot be refunded.

7.0 MISCELLANEOUS

7.1  The Corporation may amend these Game Conditions at any time and in any manner.

7.2  The headings in these Game Conditions are for convenience of reference only and do not affect the interpretation of these Game Conditions.

7.3  Unless otherwise specified by the Corporation, these Game Conditions are confirmed to be effective as of October 6, 2026.
