1.  INTRODUCTION

The Beautiful Getaway Contest (“Contest”) is sponsored by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (“OLG”). OLG is referred to in these Official Rules and Regulations (the “Rules”) as the “Sponsor”. The Contest is managed by Splashdot (the “Contest Manager”) acting on behalf of the Sponsor for the purposes of this Contest. Travel voucher fulfillment is managed by an Ontario-based travel agency designated by OLG (“Prize Supplier”) acting on behalf of the Sponsor for the purposes of this Contest. Collectively, the Sponsor, Contest Manager and Prize Supplier are referred to as the “Contest Parties”. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Fédération Internationale de Football Association (“FIFA”). By participating in the Contest, Eligible Participants agree that FIFA bears no liability whatsoever in connection with the Contest or any prize, and Eligible Participants waive any and all claims against FIFA in this regard.

There is one (1) Prize available to be won in this Contest, as set out below. This Contest takes place in Ontario, Canada and requires creation of a valid Winner’s Edge or OLG.ca Player Account as set out in more detail in Section 6.3 and 6.4. Winner’s Edge accounts and OLG.ca Player Accounts are free to create.

The Sponsor and Contest Manager reserve the right to seek damages from any such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12.6 The Released Parties assume no responsibility for: Entries, NPN Requests or other information lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected; or for the failure, interruption or delay of any mail or email or other communication to be received, for any reason; any computer viruses, time bombs, logic bombs and any other implanted devices of a like or similar nature that may arise or occur in connection with the Contest; problems with the function of any website or website feature howsoever caused; the malfunction of, or damage caused to, any telephone network or lines, computer equipment, data or software, online systems, servers or access providers; any functionality lost due to not having cookies enabled; traffic congestion on the Internet; the security or privacy of information transmitted via computer networks; for breaches of privacy due to interference by third party computer “hackers”; or any combination thereof, as a result of participation in this Contest.

13.  THIRD PARTY TERMS

13.1  The Eligible Participant understands and acknowledges that each component of the Prize and the use thereof may be subject to a separate set of third-party terms and conditions, including but not limited to rules, regulations, restrictions, terms and conditions indicated on any travel associated with the Prize, such as entry/visa requirements for any travel outside of Canada, travel blackout periods and other similar restrictions, health and safety policies or protocols (“Third Party Terms”). The Eligible Winner is responsible for determining the Third Party Terms and hereby agrees to comply with such applicable Third-Party Terms. The Released Parties do not make, and expressly disclaim, any representations or warranties with respect to any Prize component and expressly disclaim any responsibility or liability to an Eligible Winner for any Prize component. The Eligible Winner and, if applicable, any of their guest(s), are solely responsible for complying with Third Party Terms; failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the Prize.

14.  GENERAL TERMS

14.1 All Contest Entries become the property of the Sponsor. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. The decisions of the Sponsor with respect to all aspects of this Contest are final and binding on all entrants without right of appeal, including, without limitation, any decisions regarding the eligibility/disqualification of Entries, NPN Requests, and/or entrants. By participating in this Contest, entrants are agreeing to be legally bound by the terms and conditions of the Rules. Anyone determined to be in violation of these Rules for any reason is subject to disqualification in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor at any time.

14.2 Entries that have been obtained or made through fraudulent means are subject to disqualification. The Sponsor and Contest Manager will not be responsible for Entries that are lost, misdirected, or delayed for any reason whatsoever. An entrant is only allowed to register for one (1) Winner’s Edge account and one (1) OLG.ca account. More than one (1) registration of each may invalidate all Entries submitted by the person who created the duplicate account(s) and each such account may be disqualified, in the Sponsor’s and Contest Manager’s sole discretion. None of the accounts deemed, in the Sponsor’s and Contest Manager’s sole discretion, to have been entered by this person will be eligible to win any Prize.

14.3 If the identity of a participant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Winner’s Edge or OLG.ca account submitted with the Contest Entry in question will be deemed to be the participant for the purposes of the Contest. The individual assigned to the email address for the domain associated with the submitted email address is considered the authorized account holder. An Eligible Winner may be required to provide proof that they are the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Contest Entry in question and is otherwise required to meet all eligibility requirements set out in these Rules.

14.4 Eligible Participants agree that a photo or video, name, and residence (town/city and province only) of the Prize winner may be posted, published, or announced on the Contest website, the OLG website, and/or other media or social media after the selected Eligible Participant is confirmed as a winner, and that they will receive no compensation for such posting, publication, or announcement.

14.5 In the event of any conflict with any provisions contained in these Rules or Contest details contained in any form of promotional material or media (“Contest Materials”), these Rules shall prevail, govern and control to the extent of the conflict.

14.6 Draw date is subject to change without notice.

14.7 All winning Entries for the Contest will be destroyed by the Contest Manager on or after three (3) years from the corresponding draw date, with all other Entries for the Contest being destroyed by the Contest Manager in accordance with the Sponsor’s document retention policies.

14.8 This Contest is subject to the laws of the Province of Ontario and the Federal laws of Canada as applicable.

14.9 The insertion of subheadings in these Rules is for convenience and reference purposes only and will not affect the construction or interpretation of these Rules. All sums of money that are referred to in these Rules are expressed in the lawful money of Canada. References to “discretion”, “sole discretion”, or “solely” mean the absolute, sole, unqualified, subjective discretion of the party having or exercising such discretion. In the event any part of these Rules is found to be void or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of these Rules shall operate to the fullest extent permissible by law.

14.10 All times and dates refer to Eastern Time ("ET").

14.11 These Rules govern this Contest and must be complied with. By agreeing to participate in the Contest, all participants agree to comply with, and be legally bound by these Rules.

14.12 The Contest is not a game under any of the noted eligible lottery or INSTANT games and any conditions specific to these games, including ticket expiry date, do not apply to this Contest or these Rules.
