1 Introduction
- 1.1 These Promotion Specific Terms (the “Promotion Specific Terms”) contain the specific terms and conditions which govern the “Buy 1 LOTTO 6/49, Get 1 on Us” (the “Promotion”). By opting-in to this Promotion, a Player, Prospective Player, Intending Player, or any other user (as applicable) (all the foregoing, hereinafter an “Individual”) is confirming that they understand, accept, and agree to be bound by these Promotion Specific Terms which govern this Promotion.
- 1.2 This Promotion is subject to the General Offer Terms (the “General Terms”) which may be found here. The General Terms are hereby incorporated into and form part of these Promotion Specific Terms. Any conflict or inconsistency between these Promotion Specific Terms and the General Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the General Terms. Any capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the General Terms.
- 1.3 The General Terms contain the terms and conditions that govern, among other things, Merged Bonuses, Wagering Requirements, Wagering Periods, and Qualifying Requirements. If an Individual does not agree with these Promotion Specific Terms or the General Terms, they must (i) not opt into the Promotion; or (ii) immediately opt-out of the Promotion in accordance with Section 6.1.
- 1.4 This Promotion is intended to be conducted separately and with a distinct set of Promotion Specific Terms from all other promotions being administered by OLG.
2 Promotion Eligibility
- 2.1 The Promotion is available in Ontario only and only to those residing in Ontario who (at the time of participation):
- are eighteen (18) years of age or older,
- have a valid Player Account that is in good standing in accordance with the Player Agreement and has not been archived, self-excluded or deactivated; and
- have been selected to participate in this Promotion and are otherwise qualified and not precluded from participating in OLG marketing and promotions, including the Promotion, based on the application of OLG’s current policies at the time of the Promotion, including OLG’s responsible gambling policy (“Eligible Participant”).
- Without limiting the foregoing, an Individual will not be eligible to participate in this Promotion if that Individual is rated as high risk under 3.10 of the Responsible Gambling and My PlayBreak Policy at or before the time of the Individual’s opt-in, regardless of whether that Individual received an invitation to participate in this Promotion.
- Volunteers, employees, officers and directors of OLG, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and any of OLG’s advertising, promotion and contest management agencies are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.
- 2.2 In the event that an Individual does not meet the eligibility requirements as set forth herein, OLG has the right, in its sole discretion, to reject or disqualify the Individual from participating in this Promotion. The disqualified Individual will not be entitled to any Bonus or other substitute benefit due to such disqualification.
3 Promotion Period
- 3.1 This Promotion is available and redeemable from the time it appears on Wednesday in the Promotions Lobby of the Eligible Participant’s Player Account (such time as determined solely by OLG) until 10:30 pm ET on the first Saturday that follows such appearance (the “Promotion Period”).
- 3.2 Once opted in, the Eligible Participant must meet the Qualifying Requirements set out in Section 5 within 24 hours of opt- in in order to receive the Lottery Game Specific Bonus. If the Eligible Participant does not meet such requirements, the Promotion will be removed from their Player Account and no compensation of any sort will be provided.
4 How to Participate
- 4.1 In order to participate in this Promotion, an Eligible Participant must complete the following steps, within the Promotion Period:
- 4.2 Log-in to their Player Account and
- 4.3 Opt-in to the Promotion by visiting the “Promotions Lobby” or “Promotions Details Page” on OLG.ca via the link displayed by the banner or email that presented this promotion; and select the “Opt-in” button within the Promotion Period.
- 4.4 Once an Eligible Participant has met the Qualifying Requirements and the Qualifying Period has ended, they will be provided a three Canadian dollars ($3.00 CAD) Lottery Game Specific Bonus, which may only be used toward the purchase of LOTTO 6/49 Draw-Based Lottery Game(s) Played Online (the “LOTTO 6/49 Bonus”), credited to their LOTTO 6/49 Bonus balance.
5 Qualifying Requirements
- 5.1 The Qualifying Requirements for this Promotion that must be satisfied in order to redeem the LOTTO 6/49 Bonus are as follows:
- 5.2 Within twenty-four (24) hours from the time the Eligible Participant opts in to this promotion (the “Qualifying Period”), the Eligible Participant must purchase one (1) or more LOTTO 6/49 lottery ticket(s) worth a total of at least three Canadian dollars ($3.00 CAD) on OLG.ca (not funded by Lottery Bonus(es)) in order to receive the LOTTO 6/49 Bonus contemplated in this Promotion. If an Eligible Participant does not meet these requirements within the Qualifying Period, the Promotion will be removed from their Player Account and no compensation of any sort will be provided. For the avoidance of doubt, where a LOTTO 6/49 ticket for a Draw-Based Lottery Game Played Online is purchased by way of subscription, only the tickets successfully purchased during the Qualifying Period shall contribute to satisfying the Qualifying Requirements; any lottery tickets purchased outside of the Qualifying Period shall not contribute to satisfying the Qualifying Requirements.
6 General Terms
- 6.1 By accepting any promotional benefit from this Promotion (including Bonus Funds), the Eligible Participant confirms they have read, understood and agree to these Promotion Specific Terms. If the Eligible Participant no longer wishes to participate in this Promotion after they have completed the steps set out in Section 4, they must opt-out from the “Promotion Lobby” page of their Player Account or contact Player Support through the “Contact Us” page or by calling 1-800-387-0098.
- 6.2 Eligible Participants may only redeem the Promotion one (1) time during the Promotion Period. The LOTTO 6/49 Bonus provided in connection with this Promotion shall not exceed three Canadian dollars ($3.00 CAD), regardless of the amount spent on the purchase of Draw-Based LOTTO 6/49 lottery tickets purchased online.
- 6.3 The LOTTO 6/49 Bonus provided in connection with this Promotion is non-transferable and non-assignable and can only be redeemed by the Eligible Participant.
