1 Introduction

1. 1.1 These Promotion Specific Terms (the “Promotion Specific Terms”) contain the specific terms and conditions which govern the “Play for Ontario - 50% Back and Chance to Win $25,000 Cash Prize” (the “Promotion”). By opting-in to this Promotion, a Player, Prospective Player, Intending Player, or any other user (as applicable) (all the foregoing, hereinafter an “Individual”) is confirming that they understand, accept, and agree to be bound by these Promotion Specific Terms which govern this Promotion.
2. 1.2 This Promotion is subject to the General Terms and conditions which may be found here. The General Terms are hereby incorporated into and form part of these Promotion Specific Terms. Any conflict or inconsistency between these Promotion Specific Terms and the General Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the General Terms, unless otherwise specified in these Promotion Specific Terms in accordance with Section 1.4 of the General Terms. Any capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the General Terms.
3. 1.3 The General Terms contain the terms and conditions that govern, among other things, Merged Bonuses, Wager Requirements, Wager Periods, and Qualifying Requirements. If an Individual does not agree with these Promotion Specific Terms of the General Terms, they must (i) not opt in to the Promotion; or (ii) immediately opt-out of the Promotion.
4. 1.4 This Promotion is intended to be conducted separately and with a distinct set of Promotion Specific Terms from all other promotions being administered by OLG.
5. 1.5 This Promotion is composed of two components:
   1. the opportunity to receive a Lottery Bonus (“50% Back Lottery Bonus”) subject to Part I of these Promotion Specific Terms; and
   2. the chance to win a cash prize of twenty-five thousand Canadian dollars ($25,000.00 CAD) (“Contest”) subject to Part II of these Promotion Specific Terms;

   together referred to as the Promotion.

2 Promotion Eligibility

1. 2.1 The Promotion is available in Ontario only and only to those residing in Ontario who (at the time of participation):
   1. are eighteen (18) years of age or older; and
   2. have a valid Player Account that is in good standing in accordance with the Player Agreement and has not been archived, self-excluded or deactivated ("Eligible Participant").

   Volunteers, employees, officers and directors (and those with whom such persons are living, whether related or not) of OLG, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and any of OLG’s advertising, promotion and contest management agencies are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.

2. 2.2 In the event that an Individual does not meet the eligibility requirements asset forth herein, OLG has the right, in its sole discretion, to reject or disqualify the Individual from participating in this Promotion. The disqualified Individual will not be entitled to any Sports Bonus or other substitute benefit due to such disqualification.

3 Promotion Period

1. 3.1 This Promotion is available as of March 14, 2022 at 3:00pm to April 3, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. (the “Promotion Period”).

4 How to Participate

1. 4.1 Opt-In: In order to participate in this Promotion, an Eligible Participant must first, within the Promotion Period:
   1. Log-in to their Player Account and opt-in to the “Play for Ontario - 50% Back and Chance to Win $25,000 Cash Prize” by visiting the “Promotions Lobby” or promotion details page on OLG.ca and selecting the “Opt In” button.
   2. Upon opting-in, Eligible Participants will be presented a notification indicating that their opt-in was successful, and the Promotion Tile will then appear in the Eligible Participant’s “Your Active Promotions” section of their Player Account.
2. 4.2 For the 50% Back Lottery Bonus: Once opted-in in accordance with Section 4.1.a, the Eligible Participant must meet the Qualifying Requirements set out in Section 5.1 below within seven (7) calendar days in order to receive the Lottery Bonus. If the Eligible Participant does not meet such requirements, the 50% Back Lottery Bonus Promotion will be removed from their Player Account.
3. 4.3 For the Contest: An Eligible Participant will automatically earn one (1) Entry (as defined in Section 9.1) for the Contest by opting-in to the Promotion during the Promotion Period in accordance with Section 4.1.a. No purchase or wager is necessary to earn an Entry into the Contest. For clarity, the Qualifying Requirements set out in Section 5.1 do not apply to the Contest portion of this Promotion, and failure to meet the Qualifying Requirements will not disqualify any valid Entry. Refer to Part II of these Promotion Specific Terms for more details.
4. 4.4 If the Eligible Participant no longer wishes to participate in the Promotion after opting-in by completing the steps set out in Section 4.1.a. they must opt-out from the Promotion via the “Promotion Lobby” page of their Player Account or contact Player Support through the “Contact Us” page or by calling 1-855-978-7529.

PART I: 50% BACK LOTTERY BONUS

5 50% Back Lottery Bonus Qualifying Requirements

1. 5.1 The Qualifying Requirements for the 50% Back Lottery Bonus component of this Promotion that must be satisfied in order to redeem a Lottery Bonus are as follows:
   1. Within seven (7) calendar days from the date that the Eligible Participant opts-in to this Promotion (the “Qualifying Period”), the Eligible Participant must purchase one or more tickets for any Draw-Based Lottery Products Played Online in order to receive a Lottery Bonus. If an Eligible Participant does not meet these requirements within the seven (7) calendar days, the 50% Back Lottery Bonus Promotion will be removed from their Player Account and no compensation of any sort will be provided.
   2. The Qualifying Requirement for the 50% Back Lottery Bonus component of this Promotion requires that an Eligible Participant make a successful purchase(s) of Draw-Based Lottery Games Played online using Unutilized Funds from their Cash Balance during the Qualifying Period in order to be eligible to receive their Lottery Bonus. For the avoidance of doubt, where a lottery ticket for a Draw-Based Lottery Game Played Online is purchased, only the lottery tickets successfully purchased during the Qualifying Period shall contribute to satisfying the Qualifying Requirement; any lottery tickets successfully purchased outside of the Qualifying Period shall not contribute to satisfying the Qualifying Requirement.

6 50% Back Lottery Bonus Calculation

1. 6.1 Once an Eligible Participant has met the Qualifying Requirements and the Qualifying Period has ended, they will be provided a Lottery Bonus credited to their Lottery Bonus balance.
2. 6.2 The amount of Lottery Bonus will be calculated as fifty percent (50%) of the qualifying purchase(s) of Draw-Based Lottery Games Played Online made during the Qualifying Period in accordance with Section 5.1, up to a maximum of ten Canadian dollars ($10.00 CAD) in Lottery Bonus.

PART II: CONTEST

7 Contest Odds, No Purchase Necessary

1. 7.1 The odds of winning a Prize (as defined in Section 8.1) in the Contest portion of this Promotion vary depending on the number of Entries received by OLG during the Promotion Period.
2. 7.2 THERE IS NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST PORTION OF THIS PROMOTION.

8 Contest Prize

1. 8.1 There is a total of one (1) prize of twenty-five thousand Canadian dollars ($25,000.00 CAD) available to be won in the Contest (“Prize"). The Prize will be deposited into the Winner’s Player Account as Unutilized Funds, which can then be withdrawn in accordance with the Player Agreement found here.
2. 8.2 The Prize is non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.
3. 8.3 In the event a Prize cannot be awarded as originally contemplated by these Promotion Specific Terms for circumstances outside of OLG’s control, OLG may, in its discretion, substitute a Prize of equal or greater approximate retailer value. No substitutions are to be made except at OLG’s election. Except as specifically provided herein, an unclaimed Prize will not be awarded.

9 Contest Entry

1. 9.1 How to Earn an Entry. An Eligible Participant who has opted-in to the Promotion in accordance with Section 4.1 during the Promotion Period will automatically earn a maximum of one (1) entry for the Prize Draw contemplated by this Contest (an "Entry"). Such Eligible Participants will not be entitled to more than one Entry in respect of this Contest. No purchase or wager is necessary to earn an Entry into the Contest. For clarity, the Qualifying Requirements set out in Section 5.1 do not apply to the Contest portion of this Promotion, and failure to meet the Qualifying Requirements will not disqualify any valid Entry.
2. 9.2 No Purchase Necessary Mail-In Option: An Eligible Participant is not required to opt-in to the Promotion to gain an Entry into the Contest. If an Eligible Participant wishes to gain an Entry in the Contest without such opt-in, they must, on a plain white piece of paper, print their first name, last name, telephone number and complete mailing address (including postal code), on a separate plain white piece of paper, print the name of the Promotion, the Eligible Participant's OLG.ca username and address as registered on the Eligible Participant's Player Account, and handwrite a one hundred (100) or more word, unique and original essay (the "Essay") on why they like a particular online Lottery game to and mail all of the foregoing in an envelope with sufficient postage to: “Digital Product Management – Retention” Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, OLG.ca, 4120 Yonge Street, North York, ON M2P 2B8 (the "Request"). Each Request will be deemed to have been made on the day it was received by OLG, and must be received prior to the expiry of the Promotion Period. Requests that do not satisfy the requirements contemplated herein will be void. A Request received in accordance with the Promotion Specific Terms will garner one (1) Entry. There is a maximum of one (1) Request and one (1) Entry per Eligible Participant. For certainty, an Eligible Participant who earns an Entry in accordance with this Section 9.2 shall not be entitled to any Lottery Bonus offered through the 50% Back Lottery Promotion

10 Contest Selection Process

1. 10.1 On April 6, 2022 at approximately 2:00 p.m. EST in Toronto, Ontario, five (5) Eligible Participants will be selected by a random draw (the “Prize Draw”) from all eligible Entries received by OLG in accordance with these Promotion Specific Terms.
2. 10.2 For the purpose of the Promotion Specific Terms, an “Eligible Winner” is the earliest Selected Participant that has not been disqualified pursuant to the Promotion Specific Terms and is eligible to redeem a Prize, subject to Section 11.
3. 10.3 The selection of an Eligible Winner shall be determined as follows (each a “Selected Participant”):
   1. The first selected Eligible Participant drawn will be the Eligible Winner for the Prize;
   2. The next four (4) Eligible Participants will be drawn as back-up entries (each a “Back-up Entry,” collectively, the “Back-up Entries”) in the event that the first Selected Participant cannot be contacted, is found to be ineligible, fails to complete the Skill-Testing Question, fails to redeem the Prize, or otherwise fails meet any requirements to be deemed the Winner. The Back-Up Entry will replace the disqualified Selected Participant in accordance with the order in which the Back-Up Entries were drawn; and
   3. The process set out in Section 10.3.a. and 10.3.b. above will repeat until there is a Winner.

11 Contest Prize Redemption and Skill Testing Question

1. 11.1 For the purpose of the Promotion Specific Terms, the “Winner” is an Eligible Winner who redeems the Prize by first completing the following requirements within timelines prescribed by OLG:
   1. the Eligible Winner must follow the instructions on claiming the Prize in accordance with Section 11.2;
   2. the Eligible Winner must confirm receipt of the OLG notification that they are the Eligible Winner in accordance with Section 11.3;
   3. if applicable, the Eligible Winner must satisfy the requirements in Section 11.5;
   4. if applicable, the Eligible Winner must satisfy the requirements in Section 11.6; and
   5. the Eligible Winner must correctly answer the Skill-Testing Question in accordance with Section 11.7.
2. 11.2 An Eligible Winner will be initially notified of their status as an Eligible Winner by email according to the contact information associated with their Player Account within forty-eight (48) hours of the time of the Prize Draw. This notification will include a Skill-Testing Question as contemplated in Section 11.7. The second attempt will be made two (2) days after the first attempt and the third attempt will be made within seven (7) days after the second attempt. The second and third notification attempts will be made either by email or telephone according to the Eligible Winner’s contact information associated with their Player Account. The Eligible Winner will be required to follow the instructions on claiming the Prize detailed in such email to remain eligible for this Promotion.
3. 11.3 The Eligible Winner must confirm receipt of the OLG notification that they are the Eligible Winner, according to the instructions provided by OLG in its notification, within nine (9) days from the first attempt of contact to claim the Prize (“Prize Acknowledgement Deadline”). If the Eligible Winner fails to do so, they may lose any entitlement to the Prize and OLG reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to select a new Eligible Winner from the eligible Back-Up Entries that were received in accordance with these Promotion Specific Terms (in which case the foregoing provisions of this Section shall apply to such newly selected Eligible Winner).
4. 11.4 OLG will use reasonable efforts to notify the Selected Participants by telephone, email or mail, each of which according to the contact information registered on their Player Account, that they are an Eligible Winner and to arrange for the fulfilment of their Prize.
5. 11.5 An Eligible Winner, when instructed by OLG, must execute, and return OLG's standard declaration and release form which, among other matters:
   1. confirms their eligibility and compliance with the Promotion Specific Terms;
   2. acknowledges acceptance of the applicable Prize (as awarded);
   3. releases OLG and other parties from liability in connection with the conduct of the Promotion and/or the awarding of the Prize; and
   4. agrees to the publication, reproduction and/or other use of their name, address, voice, statements about the Promotion and/or photograph or other likeness without further notice or compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by or on behalf of OLG in any manner or medium whatsoever, including print, broadcast or the internet.
6. 11.6 In order to claim the Prize, the Eligible Winner may be required to present a valid government issued photo identification. If the Eligible Winner fails to do so, the applicable Prize may not be awarded and OLG has no obligation to award any substitute prizes or rewards.
7. 11.7 An Eligible Winner must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question (the “Skill-Testing Question”) without mechanical or other aid in order to claim the Prize. The Skill-Testing Question will be communicated to the Eligible Winner as part of the initial notification of the Eligible Winner’s status as Eligible Winner contemplated in Section 11.2. Without limiting the generality of the forgoing, OLG may, in its sole and absolute discretion, administer an alternate test of skill as required to comply with applicable law (including applicable accessibility legislation).
8. 11.8 If an Eligible Winner fails to respond to OLG in accordance with any of the instructions provided in a communication to the Eligible Winner, or if the Eligible Winner fails to correctly answer the Skill-Testing Question within the timeframes detailed by OLG, the Eligible Winner may be disqualified from the Contest at OLG’s sole and absolute discretion.

12 General Terms

1. 12.1 Eligible Participants may only redeem the 50% Back Lottery Bonus Promotion one (1) time. The Lottery Bonus provided in connection with the 50% Back Lottery Bonus Promotion shall not exceed ten Canadian dollars ($10.00 CAD), regardless of the amount spent on the purchase of Draw-Based Lottery Games Played Online.
2. 12.2 OLG reserves the right to deny an Entry or reject an Entry once accepted, for any reason which, in its sole judgment and discretion, it deems proper.
