TORONTO, ON – Lyle of Richmond is $1 million richer after winning with INSTANT ULTIMATE (Game #2123). Lyle is one of the top prize winners from the draw held on December 31, 2022.
Lyle, a 57-year-old retiree, said when he scanned his ticket and heard the winning jingle, he thought it must be a glitch. “When I went to the store to validate it and the machine froze, all the people around me were so amazed,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “My neighbour said to me, ‘I heard someone in Richmond won $1 million’ I said, ‘That was me!’”
Lyle said he shared his big news with his daughters, who were so excited for him.
He plans to go on a vacation, share his win with his kids, invest and maybe look into purchasing a cottage. “I am going to take my mom and sister on a trip as well.”
“It’s an extravagant feeling – I feel more comfortable being a retired man,” he concluded.
As Lyle begins to enjoy his $1 million windfall, the people of Ontario are also benefiting from the sale of the $100 INSTANT ULTIMATE game. 100 per cent of profits generated from sales of INSTANT ULTIMATE and OLG products, are reinvested into Ontario.
