Debra, a retiree, has been a loyal fan of INSTANT CROSSWORD for decades. The mother of three and grandmother of three enjoys the time it takes to play the game. “I was at home when I decided to play my ticket. Realizing I’d won big, I screamed, ‘OMG!’ It was unreal,” Debra recounted, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings. “I immediately hopped in my car and headed to the closest store to verify my win.”
“I’ve shared the news with a few friends, but I was waiting until the cheque was in my hands before telling anyone else,” said Debra. “I know I’ve won, but it truly hasn’t sunk in yet. You always dream of things like this, but you never actually think it’ll happen to you.”
“This win came at a great time for me,” Debra smiled. “I’ll be able to pay my bills and still have money to save. I also plan to buy a new computer,” she concluded.
The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K on Ontario Street North in Grand Bend.
