$5 Lottery Bonus Birthday Gift

1 Introduction

  1. 1.1 These Promotion Specific Terms (the “Promotion Specific Terms”) contain the specific terms and conditions which govern the “$5 Lottery Bonus Birthday Gift” (the “Promotion”). By opting-in to this Promotion, a Player, Prospective Player, Intending Player, or any other user (as applicable) (all the foregoing, hereinafter an “Individual”) is confirming that they understand, accept, and agree to be bound by these Promotion Specific Terms which govern this Promotion.
  2. 1.2 This promotion is subject to the General Terms and conditions which may be found by selecting here. The General Terms are hereby incorporated into and form part of these Promotion Specific Terms. Any conflict or inconsistency between these Promotion Specific Terms and the General Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the General Terms. Any capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the General Terms.
  3. 1.3 The General Terms contain the terms and conditions that govern, among other things, Merged Bonuses, Wagering Requirements, Wagering Periods, and Qualifying Requirements. If an Individual does not agree with these Promotion Specific Terms of the General Terms, they must (i) not opt in to the Promotion; or (ii) immediately opt-out of the Promotion.
  4. 1.4 This Promotion is intended to be conducted separately and with a distinct set of Promotion Specific Terms from all other promotions being administered by OLG.

2 Promotion Eligibility

  1. 2.1 The Promotion is available in Ontario only and only to those residing in Ontario who (at the time of participation):
    1. are eighteen (18) years of age or older;
    2. have a valid Player Account that is in good standing in accordance with the Player Agreement and has not been archived, self-excluded or deactivated;
    3. Have been selected to participate in this Promotion by OLG and are otherwise qualified and not precluded from participating in OLG marketing and promotions, including the Promotion, based on the application of OLG’s current policies at the time of the Promotion, including OLG’s responsible gambling policy (“Eligible Participant”).   Without limiting the foregoing, an Individual will not be eligible to participate in this Promotion if that Individual is rated as high risk under 3.10 of the Responsible Gambling and My PlayBreak Policy at or before the time of the Individual’s opt-in, regardless of whether that Individual received an invitation to participate in this Promotion.

    Volunteers, employees, officers and directors (and those with whom such persons are living, whether related or not) of OLG, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and any of OLG’s advertising, promotion and contest management agencies are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.

  2. 2.2 In the event that an Individual does not meet the eligibility requirements as set forth herein, OLG has the right, in its sole discretion, to reject or disqualify the participant from participating in this Promotion. The disqualified Individual will not be entitled to any Bonus or other substitute benefit due to such disqualification.

3 Promotion Period

  1. 3.1 This Promotion is available and redeemable as of 12:00 a.m. on April 1, 2025 and shall continue until 11:59 p.m. on June 2, 2025 (the “Promotion Period”). The Eligible Participant may only redeem the bonus provided as part of this Promotion for 168 hours from the time OLG sent the promotional email detailed in Section 4.1 (for the purposes of this Agreement, the time the email is sent is the time that is recorded in OLG’s servers and OLG will be the sole determinant of same for all purposes).

4 How to Participate

  1. 4.1 Eligible Participants will receive a promotional email on the date they have specified as their birthday when registering for a Player Account. The promotional email will direct them to the promotion details page on OLG.ca.
  2. 4.2 To participate in this Promotion an Eligible Participant must, within 168 hours from the time that the invitation email is sent by OLG:
    1. Log-in to their Player Account;
    2. Opt-in to the $5 Lottery Bonus Birthday Gift promotion within the Promotion Period by visiting the “Promotions Lobby” or promotion details page on OLG.ca and selecting the “Opt In” button within the Promotion Period
    3. Once the Eligible Participant has opted in, they will receive a notification indicating the successful opt-in and will receive a Lottery Bonus. The Lottery Bonus will be visible in the Eligible Participant’s Bonus Balance.
  3. 4.3 The amount of Lottery Bonus will be provided in OLG’s sole discretion and may vary based on the Eligible Individual’s behaviour on OLG.ca.

5 General Terms

  1. 5.1 Eligible Participant’s may only redeem the Promotion one (1) time. The Lottery Bonus provided in connection with this Promotion shall not exceed five Canadian dollars ($5.00 CAD), regardless of the amount spent on the purchase of Draw-Based Lottery Games Played Online.
