“VIP Program $500 Gift Card Promotion”

1 Introduction

  1. 1.1 These Promotion Specific Terms (the “Promotion Specific Terms”) contain the specific terms and conditions which govern the “VIP Player $500 Gift Card Promotion” (the “Promotion”). By opting-in to this Promotion in accordance with Section 5, a Player, Prospective Player, Intending Player, or any other user (as applicable) (all the foregoing, hereinafter an “Individual”) is confirming that they understand, accept, and agree to be bound by these Promotion Specific Terms which govern this Promotion.
  2. 1.2 This Promotion is subject to the General Terms and Conditions which may be found here. The General Terms are hereby incorporated into and form part of these Promotion Specific Terms. Any conflict or inconsistency between these Promotion Specific Terms and the General Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the General Terms. Any capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the General Terms.
  3. 1.3 The General Terms contain the terms and conditions that govern, among other things, Merged Bonuses, Wagering Requirements, Wagering Periods, and Qualifying Requirements. If an Individual does not agree with these Promotion Specific Terms of the General Terms, they must (i) not opt into the Promotion; or (ii) immediately opt-out of the Promotion.
  4. 1.4 This Promotion is intended to be conducted separately and with a distinct set of Promotion Specific Terms from all other promotions being administered by OLG.

2 Promotion Eligibility

  1. 2.1 The Promotion is available in Ontario only and only to those residing in Ontario who (at the time of participation):
    1. are nineteen (19) years of age or older;
    2. have a valid Player Account that is in good standing in accordance with the Player Agreement and has not been archived, self-excluded or deactivated; and
    3. have been selected to participate in this Promotion, all as determined by OLG in its sole and absolute discretion (“Eligible Participant”).

    Volunteers, employees, officers and directors (and those with whom such persons are living, whether related or not) of OLG, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and any of OLG’s advertising, promotion and contest management agencies are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.

  2. 2.2 In the event that an Individual does not meet the eligibility requirements as set forth herein, OLG has the right, in its sole discretion, to reject or disqualify the Individual from participating in this Promotion. The disqualified Individual will not be entitled to any Bonus or other substitute benefit due to such disqualification.

3 Promotion Period

  1. 3.1 This Promotion is available and redeemable as of 3:00 p.m. on April 4, 2022 until 11:59 p.m. on April 17, 2022 (the “Promotion Period”).

4 Gifts

  1. 4.1 Eligible Participants will be selected to receive a Gift as part of this Promotion. An Eligible Participant may select only one of the three following gift certificates, each of which has a value of five hundred dollars ($ 500.00) (each a “Gift” and collectively the “Gifts”):

  2. 4.2 There is a limit of one (1) Gift per Eligible Participant.
  3. 4.3 Gift components are not eligible for upgrades or loyalty points or rewards.
  4. 4.4 Gifts are non-transferable and non-assignable and can only be redeemed by an Eligible Participant. Gifts must be accepted as awarded.
  5. 4.5 In the event the Gift cannot be awarded as originally contemplated by these Promotion Specific Terms for circumstances outside of OLG’s control, OLG may, in its sole and absolute discretion, substitute a Gift of equal or greater approximate retailer value. No substitutions are to be made except at OLG’s discretion.

5 How to Participate

  1. 5.1 Eligible Participants must log-in to their Player Account;
  2. 5.2 Eligible Participants must navigate to the “Promotions Lobby” and opt-in to the Promotion by selecting “Opt In” once they get to the “Promotion Detail Page” or an Eligible Participant may click on the promotional banners and navigate to the “Promotion Detail Page” and select the “Opt-In” button;
  3. 5.3 Eligible Participants may only opt-in to the Promotion one (1) time. Eligible Participants must opt-in during the Promotion Period to be eligible to claim the Gift, otherwise they will not be eligible to claim the Gift; and
  4. 5.4 Upon opting-in, Eligible Participants will be presented a notification indicating that their Opt-In was successful. The Promotion Tile will then appear in the Eligible Participant’s “Your Active Promotions” section of their Player Account.
  5. 5.5 If the Selected Participant no longer wishes to participate in the Promotion after completing the steps set out in Sections 5.1-5.4, they must opt-out from the Promotion via the “Promotion Lobby” page of their Player Account or contact Player Support through the “Contact Us” page, by calling 1-855-978-7529 or by emailing playersupport@olg.ca. After opting out, the Selected Participant agrees that they will no longer be eligible to receive the Gift or any component thereof and OLG may in its sole and absolute discretion offer the Gift to another Selected Participant.

6 Delivery of Gifts

  1. 6.1 Gifts will be emailed to the Eligible Participant’s email address contained in their Player Account within 45 days following the end of the Promotion Period.
  2. 6.2 IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS OF THIS PROMOTION TO ENSURE THAT CONTACT INFORMATION, INCLUDING FULL NAME, EMAIL AND EMAIL ADDRESS CONTAINED IN THEIR PLAYER ACCOUNT IS ACCURATE AND UP TO DATE. OLG SHALL HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY CONSEQUENCES RESULTING FROM ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS PROVIDING OUT-OF-DATE OR INCORRECT INFORMATION.

7 General Terms

  1. 7.1 Eligible Participants are not required to make any purchase or wager any Unutilized Funds to participate in this Promotion.
  2. 7.2 The Eligible Participant understands and acknowledges that each Gift and the use thereof may be subject to a separate set of third-party terms and conditions (“Third Party Terms”). The Gift Recipient is responsible for determining the Third-Party Terms applicable to the Gift (or component thereof) and their use thereof and hereby agrees to comply with such applicable Third Party Terms. OLG does not make and expressly disclaims any representations or warranties with respect to any Gift. The Eligible Participant is solely responsible for complying with Third Party Gift Terms.
  3. 7.3 OLG will have no responsibility whatsoever in respect of any claim arising in connection with the participation in the Promotion or any Gift awarded.
